Kayak the red rock and side canyons of Lake Powell or the remaining 15 miles of Colorado River in Glen Canyon. Cañon Outfitters rents single and tandem sit on top kayaks for the beginner kayaker or single sea touring kayaks for the more experienced kayaker. Sit on top kayaks are rented with PFD, paddle and spare paddle. Sea touring kayaks are rented with PFD, spray skirt, bilge pump, paddle and spare paddle.


Sit on top kayak/Single with PFD, two paddles- $30.00/day


Sit on top kayak/Tandem with two PFDs, three paddles- $40.00/day


Sea Touring Kayak with PFD, two paddles, spray skirt, bilge pump and two paddles- $40.00/day


The National Park Service does not allow Cañon Outfitters or other in town kayak outfitters to deliver kayaks within Glen Canyon Recreation Area. Please be prepared to transport your kayak.

Colorado Discovery is the concessionaire for the Colorado River in Glen Canyon between Glen Canyon Dam and Lees Ferry. They provide backhauls from Lees Ferry to upriver locations for kayakers. Prices are $20.00/person and $23.00/boat, but pickup times vary depending on the time of year.  Please contact Colorado River Discovery at
